BMW G29 Z4 Wheels

The G29 Z4 is the current generation of BMW's two-seat roadster, launched in 2019 and built on the same platform as the Toyota Supra A90 -- a shared development that produced two of the most capable modern sports cars on the market. The range spans the sDrive20i and sDrive30i with turbocharged four-cylinders to the M40i with the B58 turbocharged inline-six making 382 horsepower. The G29 marks the shift to the 5x112 bolt pattern. The factory wheels are 18-inch through 20-inch cast and forged units, with the M40i receiving the staggered performance setup. A forged monoblock upgrade reduces unsprung mass and sharpens the response of a roadster that already delivers exceptional steering feel.

The G29's fitment is shared with the Supra platform architecture but with Z4-specific geometry. The offset accounts for the wider track, the large M Sport brake calipers on the M40i, and the fender clearance under compression with the soft-top's structural mass. The M40i's staggered setup with its wider rear wheels demands precision offset to fill the arches without rubbing.
