Confirming Fitment Before You Pay: The Information We Need

Introduction
Four details and one photo are usually enough. Here is what we check, and why we would rather confirm before you order than fix a fitment problem afterward.

Why we prefer to check first

Confirming fitment costs a short message. Correcting it afterwards costs a return, a delay, a re-order and a car sitting on a lift. It is not close. We would rather spend five minutes before your order than two weeks after it.

The four details

Chassis code. Model year or build year. Body style. Market where the car was sold. Those four answer most of what we need. A VIN collapses all four into one line and is the fastest option if you are willing to share it.

The one photo

A clear photo of the joint you need to meet, or of the part you are replacing, tells us things a description cannot: how much clearance exists, what kind of flange is fitted, how the pipe runs and where the support points are. Take it from a position that shows the whole joint rather than a close-up of a single clamp.

What you get back

A confirmed item number, and a straight statement about anything that needs attention - a different variant, an additional coupler, a clearance issue, or a body-style difference. If a stock part does not suit, we will say so, and we will tell you what the alternative is.

When to ask

Before you order, and earlier is better than later. If you are still comparing options, the same details let us tell you which of our parts suit your car at all. Browse by platform on our Shop by vehicle page, or just send us the details.
