Carbon fiber accents work best where they frame something important. The headlight housing is exactly that — the carbon surround draws the eye to the light signature, giving the front end a focused, aggressive look that reads from a distance.
On the G80, the headlight covers achieve three things at once:
Headlight covers live in one of the most visible zones of the car — which means they're also one of the hardest parts to get right. A cover that's off by a millimeter creates a visible gap next to a light cluster. A weave that runs the wrong direction looks wrong next to the bodywork.
That's why our headlight covers go through the same process as every Fupower carbon part:
A single carbon piece is an accent. A set is a statement. When the headlight covers, mirror covers, and engine cover all carry the same weave, the same depth, and the same finish, the G80 stops looking modified — it looks specified that way.
That's the goal of this series: build a G80 where the carbon doesn't shout, it belongs.
We've now covered the intake (Chapter 1) and the exterior carbon details — headlights here, mirrors and engine bay in the previous part. Every piece is produced in Fupower's own carbon fiber line: laid up, cured, clear-coated, and fitment-verified before shipping.
Headlight covers ready. Mirror covers ready. Engine covers ready. Which part of the build is yours next?
